This technique is easiest when 2 people work together. Person 1 should roll the faux glaze onto the surface using a paint roller.

Sponge painting is one of the most widely used faux finish painting techniques due to it's interesting illusion of depth and texture. It creates a look and feel in your decor that is unlike any other painting technique. We prefer to teach you this technique using a Sponge roller because it's super-fast, and incredibly easy to get professional-looking results.
You will need to roll a base coat of satin finish paint before you begin. This technique also requires the use of faux glaze.

Person 2 will then roll with the Sponge Roller to your desired look. NOTE: Both people should work closely in proximity to avoid premature drying of the wet glaze.
As you roll with the Sponge Roller, you will need to roll-off excess glaze onto a Sponge or paper towel to avoid over-saturation of the Sponge Roller.
